WHAT YOU'LL SEE:

Houdini’s Showplace, featuring world-renowned magician Vince Carmen, his wife Yvonne and daughter Erika performing “The Magic of Sarasota,” opens in its new location within the Sarasota Classic Car Museum located at 5500 N. Tamiami Trail Sarasota, FL 34243, Sarasota.

Carmen gives a candid preview of his magical mixture of mystery and illusion, “Our show is performance art as we present it, and it’s for anyone who wishes to suspend belief and be amazed. The sophisticated public understands that magic is not just for kids.”

Vince Carmen is thrilled that his one-of-a-kind show will now be located at the easy to find Sarasota Classic Car Museum, at the corner of University Parkway and the Tamiami Trail --right across from the Ringling Museum.

Houdini’s Showplace is open year-round. Seating is at 6pm Thursday through Saturday nights. Enjoy table-side magic from 6pm to 6:30pm, and a delicious dinner buffet up through 7:30pm. The grand performance runs from 7:30 until 8:30 pm. There's a beer and wine cash bar available. It's an incredible presentation of world class entertainment that's great for all ages.

Ticket prices are $40 for adults, $21 for children ages 6 to 13, and FREE for kids five years or younger.

Yvonne is known as “the first lady of the unicycle” and performs the amazing stunt of tossing cups and saucers to balance on her head while riding a six-foot tall unicycle as featured on the Jay Leno Tonight show.

Before the show, Vince and Yvonne perform tableside magic while guests enjoy a festive atmosphere.

Thursday, Friday, and Saturday evenings, doors open at 6pm (Museum, 5:15pm).
