VINCE CARMEN BIO

Born a parson’s son in North Carolina, Vince Carmen first aspired to enter show business after seeing Ringling Brothers Circus at the age of six. Vince studied drama at the University of North Carolina, but the hobby of magic became his livelihood.

As a master magician, Vince has succeeded in mesmerizing the public worldwide for over two decades. He performed at the Flamingo Hilton Hotel in Vegas for the long running show called "City Lights." He performed at Harrah's for Fredric Apcar in the show "Heat's On." (Other shows included "Hot Streak,""Bustin Out" and "Fast Company.") Vince played a year at the Scala Theatre in Madrid (where his daughter Candi was born). He captivated the other side of the world during his New Zealand tour by turning beautiful women into roaring tigers. He was also a featured performer at Circus Circus in Vegas for 8 years. His other tours included magical performances in Canada, Rio de Janeiro, Argentina and Puerto Rico. In the early days of his career, Vince was lucky enough to have participated in the final days of the classic Spook Shows. He gave some performances for Philip Morris in his "Dr. Evil's Terrors of the Unknown" campaign.

Versatility is the key to Vince’s success. He has managed this feat by conquering the total spectrum of magical skills from sleight of hand to making horses and even cars full of women disappear.

Vince’s multitude of talents garnered him a feature story and the cover (a photo of Vince making his daughter, Erika, levitate over the beach) of the May 2005 Magic magazine, a national publication for magicians.
